From Customer Order to Finished Gingerbread Heart

In our online shop, you can order a wide variety of gingerbread products that can be personalized according to your wishes. Let us label our hearts with names or fully personalized messages. When decorating gingerbread hearts, your creativity has virtually no limits. In addition to hearts, we also offer many other special shapes. We are also happy to develop a shape specifically according to your ideas.

To give you an insight into our production process, we would like to briefly explain the individual steps until our products are finished and ready to be shipped to you.

1. The dough is baked according to a traditional recipe

Following a traditional recipe, the gingerbread dough is prepared and first cut into the desired shape. In addition to many other shapes, we also produce the classic gingerbread hearts known from the Munich Oktoberfest, local fairs, or carnivals. Once this step is completed, the dough goes into the hot oven. After baking, the deliciously fragrant hearts must cool down before they can be further processed.

2. The icing is prepared

Once the base has cooled, the decorating begins - the gingerbread hearts are decorated and labeled. First, different icing colors are mixed for this purpose. The colors are freshly prepared by hand, ensuring that every color request can be fulfilled.

The preparation is complete, now the gingerbread heart can be decorated, painted, and written on with great care and attention to detail.

3. 100% handmade gingerbread hearts - lettering, decoration, and edging

First, the text is written and applied to the blank base using colored icing, hearts, edelweiss, and other decorative elements. The wavy edge gives the gingerbread hearts their final perfect appearance.

Mmm... delicious... here, for example, gingerbread hearts are being produced for Deutsche Bank as a declaration of love for Valentine’s Day.

4. The gingerbread goes through quality control

Now the icing must dry thoroughly so it can harden. The gingerbread heart is then sealed in foil and finally fitted with a ribbon for hanging. Before the goods reach our shipping department, the gingerbread hearts go through a final quality control check, where we ensure that every request has been fulfilled correctly.

5. Your custom gingerbread is now ready for shipping

Now the sweet Bavarian gingerbread hearts are ready to make their way to your home - to share a heartfelt message for your birthday, event, or personal declaration of love.
