Personalization happens right on the product page. First, you pick the size that works best – from a handy 8 × 8 cm to an impressive 50 × 45 cm heart – and then you decide on the lettering and look. How much text fits on the heart depends on the size, of course; for smaller hearts we recommend short sayings or a single name, while larger formats give you room for full dedications.
Our pastry chefs hand-pipe your message onto the heart using royal icing – nearly any language and special character is possible. If you'd like a logo, design, or photo on the heart, we print it onto edible sugar paper using food-safe inks. For simpler logos, a hand-painted version with royal icing is also a nice option – just ask us which approach works best for your design.
From a subtle 8 × 8 cm party favor to a 50 × 45 cm showstopper – the size determines the visual impact and how much room you have for the lettering. For place cards and small tokens, 8 to 12 cm is usually plenty. If you want to fit a photo or a longer saying, you'll be better off with 16 cm or larger. For business customers, we're happy to recommend the right size based on the occasion and quantity – just reach out.
You can choose from standard colors, soft pastels, and bold, eye-popping shades. If you need a specific shade – say, to match a corporate identity or a wedding color palette – we'll match it from a paper color sample. Also popular is the two-tone split border, which really shines when you're working with team or company colors.
Small sugar accents are what really finish the heart off. The classics are flowers, stars, and tiny hearts, along with seasonal motifs for Oktoberfest, weddings, or Christmas. If you have a specific theme in mind, just let us know – we can pull off plenty of custom decorations.
By default, our hearts come shrink-wrapped in clear film with a ribbon for hanging, so they're easy to display or give as a gift. For place cards, we offer a version without the ribbon, which sits nicely on a card holder. For especially festive occasions like weddings, we recommend our gift packaging with a red bow.
We don't draw a line between a single heart for your sweetheart and a bulk order for a trade show booth. Even a single personalized heart won't cost you more than it should, and there's no upper limit on quantity.
