Our Story

Gingerbread is just as much a part of Christmas as Christmas trees and mulled wine. However, not everyone has such a fine selection as we do here in the traditional gingerbread region of Nuremberg.

This is how, in 2003 — at the so-called birth of e-commerce — an online shop for delicious specialties from Nuremberg was created, and the Christmas family tradition of sending gingerbread specialties to friends and relatives was turned into a professional business idea.

It was so well received that after a short time, a small bakery initially focused on classic Nuremberg Elisen gingerbread quickly grew into a true all-round gingerbread specialist.

Following the motto “we’ll get it baked,” every special request was made possible — whether it involved Christstollen or other festive specialties. Soon, there was also demand for individually and lovingly designed gingerbread, which—after extensive refinement and perfection—is now part of our product range. And not just during Oktoberfest or Christmas time, but 365 days a year, just like almost our entire assortment.
