So your gingerbread house turns out perfectly and doesn’t end up crooked or lopsided, you can simply download our template as a PDF here! The gingerbread house template is designed for two gingerbread sheets, each measuring about 30x20 cm. That’s roughly the size of an A4 page. One is used as the base, and the other is for cutting out the individual parts. The gingerbread house template is easy to understand and completely free!
You can of course use the gingerbread house template for completely homemade gingerbread sheets, but it’s easier and faster if you order our “ready-made gingerbread sheets”! Our “gingerbread house template” and the finished “gingerbread sheet” are perfectly matched to each other!
Our practical gingerbread sheet is approx. 20 cm x 29 cm in size and made from delicious gingerbread dough according to a traditional recipe. It is perfect for the gingerbread house template, but can also be cut into any other shape!
Our gingerbread house base is probably the easiest way to create your own gingerbread house! The flat gingerbread is already pre-cut and baked, so you can start decorating right away!

But the gingerbread house template isn’t just for gingerbread! Try making a house out of cookie dough. The process is exactly the same: download the template, print it, cut it out, and start crafting!
To glue it together, you can simply use our “royal icing ready mix”! Everything you need to know about royal icing can be found on our dedicated info page. There you’ll also find more information about royal icing! For decorating, our “icing pen” in a resealable tube is perfect. Although it was originally designed for gingerbread hearts, it works just as well for houses! Both royal icing and icing pens can easily be colored with food coloring. For applying royal icing, we recommend a piping bag so even fine details turn out perfectly!
