Our Elisen gingerbread is baked by hand using a pastry recipe without flour and with a corn wafer and then provided with an edible logo on sugar paper. Gingerbread, logo, and chocolate icing are completely vegan, i.e. without egg, milk or other animal ingredients.
Despite the modern recipe for vegan gingerbread, you will not taste any difference to the original Nuremberg Elisen gingerbread!
